Volunteers from CNY RISE Center were at Parkrose Estates Senior Living on Monday, October 22, 2018 to present CNY RISE Center, its activities, and Turkey. It was an enjoyable night for residences who got some information about our center and Turkey. Some residence refreshed their memories from Turkey. Everyone enjoyed some Turkish food like baklava, pastry, and salad.

CNY RISE Center weekend school students and the children from Liverpool Later Day Saints Church came together to craft hand-made blankets. Those blankets were donated to low income families and people in-need. Children had a lot of fun making the blankets and playing games. They also learned from one another by sharing their own unique stories. Children and their parents left by promising to come together again to make more projects.

CNY RISE Center volunteers were at the Manlius Library to present Turkey to the community on Saturday, May 21, 2016. Visitors checked out some artifacts from Turkish culture and also tasted some Turkish food like baklava, stuffed grape leaves, and Turkish Delight.
